Deputy director of State Agriculture Management and Training Institute (SAMTI) of Agriculture department Nevil Alponso has said that the three -day agriculture expo being organised by them is aimed to educate the farmers about new technology and on increasing productivity.
Alphonso said that 63 stalls have been put up by various departments of the government, besides the agriculture expo-related private agencies. He appealed to farmers to pay a visit to the stalls and get the benefits.
There are various stalls displaying various products right from poultry farming to paddy transplantation. There are some stalls selling equipment required for farming and its allied activities.
