Goa’’s business community had an enlightening talk recently with Purnima Voria, founder and CEO of the National US India Chamber of Commerce. Voria who served as advisor to the Obama Administration on the National Advisory Council on Minority Business Enterprises for two years was a part of the Ivanka Trump led US delegation at the eighth annual Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) in Hyderabad.
She spoke of her experiences at the summit and the opportunities and challenges for Goans wishing to do business in the US. The event also had Ahutosh Kharangate, Mangal Advisory Services, making a presentation on export potential to the US while, Cyril D’’Souza, World Trade Centre, Goa spoke on WTCs US trade facilitation measures. The event was jointly organised by the women’’s wing, GCCI and the WTC.
