Goa on Tuesday recorded 96 new COVID-19 cases, taking the total number of active cases to 947.
The confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Goa currently stand at 50,239 of which 48,567 patients have defeated the deadly virus. Till date, 725 patients have succumbed to the virus in the state including two new deaths in the last 24 hours.
Around 88 patients recovered from the disease on Tuesday.
According to DHS, current active positive cases are as follows: Urban Health Centres - Margao (146), Vasco (56), Panaji (64) and Mapusa (22); Community Health Centres- Sankhali (16), Bicholim (9), Pernem (17), Valpoi (5), Curchorem (20) and Canacona (16); Primary Health Centres - Aldona (18), Betki (11), Candolim (46), Cansarvanem (4), Colvale (10), Corlim (18), Chimbel (39), Siolim (27), Porvorim (64), Mayem (4), Balli (13), Cansaulim (26), Chinchinim (17), Cortalim (31), Curtorim (24), Loutolim (34), Marcaim (10), Quepem (58), Sanguem (23), Shiroda (11), Dharbandora (5), Ponda (58) and
Navelim (23).
